Aegle
Discover personal connections between what you eat and how you feel.
Aegle is a personal nutrition and symptom diary that turns your own food and outcome logs into statistical insights, all on your device, with no account and no server.
Coming soon to Google Play. Aegle is currently in closed testing. The first public release will appear here when it is live on the Play Store.
What it does
Diary
Log nutrition events (foods, ingredients, products) and outcome events (symptoms, mood, energy) as they happen.
Oracle
An on-device machine-learning model fits your data and surfaces possible connections between intake items and outcomes across several post-intake time windows.
Smart entry
Built for fast logging. Aegle surfaces the items you reach for most often and adapts to the way you use the app, keeping each entry to just a few taps.
Private by design
Data lives in encrypted local storage. The app cannot connect to the internet itself, and export is always user-initiated.
How privacy works
- All entries are stored in encrypted local databases inside the app's private storage.
- Encryption keys are generated on your device and stored using platform secure storage.
- The app cannot connect to the internet itself; export is the only user-initiated feature that can move data off your device.
- No analytics, no crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising, no third-party data sharing.
- Export to JSON is opt-in and user-initiated; uninstalling the app removes all data.
